Roos or Hens? PRAYING THEY ARE HENS!

So, I just bought these 5 from a lady near me. She said she was "positive" the 3 light Brahmas are hens and "pretty sure" the cochins are as well.

The cochins are around 12 weeks, not sure on Brahmas age, she said they should start laying in a month.

I looked and looked and looked at them before deciding to buy......looking at their combs/wattles (color/size), looking at their feathers. Now I am second guessing my decision and quite sick about it......I already have 6 roosters and NEED to add some hens (The roosters never fight, but some of my hens backs are featherless!).

from what I can tell you might have at least 3-4 hens Mabey one roo but I'm cant tell for sure

Cochins look like cockerels, Brahmas are pullets.

Dang it, it makes me sad they are boys! Not to mention my hubby won't be pleased!
