I have two chickens that I am questioning their gender. I believe the yellow/buff is an orpington and the dark tan/brown is an Americana/Easter Egg. I could be wrong in my guessing of their breeds. I do have another lighter Americana/Easter Egg that does not have as prominent of a comb/waddles, so I'm questioning what gender this one is. and my assumed orpington is the only one of its kind in my little flock. Neither show the same behavior as my banty rooster (I think he may have little man syndrome and its cute to watch him get feisty over his ladies since they are all twice his size) and are very docile. Any guesses out there? **picture is posted as well. they are the two in the red circle**

Also, at what ages do hens usually start laying? They are all around 5-8 months old at this point and I'm getting antsy/excited to start seeing eggs! hahaha
