Roost Poll Yes or No

For some reason I think most BYC members use 2x4 roost wide side up. Just like to see the numbers for my own curiosity.

I use 2x4 and 2x3. Less poop on the 2x3 so they're my preference.

I rip old 2x4's into 2x2's break out the draw knife and round the edges. when possible I use natural branches 3" to 2" in diameter that will span the width of my various coop in the roost areas

? I'm not sure what you're trying to say. I'm calling them what they're called, not what they measure. I know lumber measurements are rounded.

I use saplings and tree branches, 2" to 4" diameter, bark on.

I used those for a bit. My main roosts are 2x4s now, but I've used everything from 1x4s to metal ladder pieces.

I use natural cedar branches. The back side of our property borders a river and we go choose branches that should come out anyway.
I have heard cedar also repel mites and bugs in general.

I use tree branches that vary in diameter since I have various sized birds.
