I see a lot of roosts as a ladder type structure (even like the one in my brooder) but in my coop I wanted to give areas to roost at different heights and in different parts of the coop. I plan on having an additional ladder type roost in the run if they so desire to hang out on one, but is the non-traditional roosting style ok? or will they be confused?

This is what it looks like so far:

so....should i add more of a ladder or are the scattered places to relax and roost ok?

Thank you!

That's such a cute coop.
I would make sure the roosts are not to high. I would not make them higher then 18 inches. It can cause bumblefoot if the chickens are continually jumping down on a hard floor.
