I have a lot of four purchased from the local feed store. I bought one New Hampshire Red, one Barred Rock, and two Ameraucanas ( they said they were Ameraucanas, but are they Easter eggers?) hens.

The big question here is, now that they grown up a bit I believe I have two Ameraucana Cockrels. I love these birds, they have great color, but I am in the city and roosters are unfortunately not permited. Any thoughts?

Number one - Her name is Priscilla ( or maybe it should be Preston)

    Thanks for the replies!

@Basskids08 you say 100%, coloration, comb, baby spurs, anything else you see that you could explain?

@Bantamlover21 what are the distinguishing features you saw that makes them EE and not Ameraucana?

Absolutely cockerels and absolutely EE -- they are showing male saddle/hackle feathers and have sickle feathers coming in on the tail. EE is because they do not fit the breed standard in any way for Ameraucana - wrong comb, leg color and over all body coloration.

Hackle/saddle feathers, comb, color, legs, etc that determine my opinion
