    Hard to tell without an age, but thatjaunty tail feather tells me it is a younger boy.

    BUT- a side view would be helpful/

    Definite rooster. Coloring confirms it too.

    If you want to save time on sexing Barred Rocks, the next time you get some chicks, make sure to get ones with the smallest white dot on their heads. [​IMG]

    Both were given to us and we were assured they were girls. Can't keep roosters in the city so he has got to go

    BTW check out the Bay Area thread. Jeremy lives in Oakland and he has roosters.

    I had them when I lived there but I'm old as dirt, so things have changed.

    Id sure love to have more chickens but our yard is tiny and we also grow our own food so its a real compromise
