Rooster breed?

Any ideas what type of rooster this is? We ordered a barred rock rooster but he doesn’t seem to look like one? He’s very friendly and we are enjoying him!

We got him from a hatchery. He definitely looked a little different than the barred rock pullets when they were young. We aren’t complaining, he’s a great rooster!

Silver penciled Plymouth rock, maybe? If not then probably a hatchery hybrid. Not sure which one, though.

They only list a few varieties. I would say yours is probably what they call a Sunnyside Rainbow Egger, which is a hatchery hybrid.

The amount of times people have lied when asking about and buying chickens is unbelievable, I guess it's just part of the learning process after U get lied to so many times you learn to know the difference. Had em lie about age, time to be laying, breed, price everything I dunno if it's just people are careless or just make up stuff to sell there birds quicker but either way...
