My neighbors dog jumped over to our yard and my rooster got hurt trying to get away and I hadn't realized till I noticed he would stand only on one foot more often. Checked his feet and I saw it. It's not bleeding but the nail is bent the wrong direction. Should I move it in place and bandage it? Or take it off? Still attached from tissue. I tried getting pictures but I couldn't stop him from moving. Recommendations on what medicine/tools to use, and advice in what to do (leave nail or cut off) 20191002_071347.jpg 20191002_071404.jpg 20191002_071359.jpg 20191002_071357.jpg 20191002_071353.jpg 20191002_071347.jpg 20191002_071404.jpg 20191002_071359.jpg 20191002_071357.jpg 20191002_071353.jpg would be great! Thank you in advance.

You can leave it for about and let it grow back out before cutting off or you can do it right away. Make sure you have a blood stop product on hand. I personally would leave it be for a while, and cut it off with a dog nail clipped after the nail grows out more, but It all depends on how much it's bothering him. It's right at the base of the nail, so that's what would make me wait, but I can't really see it in person, so use your own judgment.
