Rooster color genes

I have two roosters that can be easter eggers or olive eggers. many chicken enthusiasts swear by both. Is there a physical way to tell without waiting on their offspring to lay eggs?

.....are basically the same anyway.
Yes, you'd have to wait until their female offspring lay to know whether they passed a blue shell gene down.
