Rooster Crow Bad

I have a 2 year old Lavender Rooster. Past few months his crow will sound sickly so I quarantine him for 3-5 days and administer Tylan in water. He gets better so I send him out and a couple weeks later it’s bad again. He’s eating and drinking fine, no lesions or raspy sounds breathing that I can hear when I’m near him. Any idea what’s going on appreciated.

Have you checked his crop to make sure it's empty in the morning before he eats/drinks?
