Rooster crowing at 2 months

Hey, does anyone else had any roosters start crowing at 7-8 weeks old? Our EE roo ( or was supposed to be a hen) started full blown nice crows at 2 months old.

I have one right now that started crowing at 10 DAYS old. In the past, my boys haven’t started growing until 12+ weeks, but I guess my current one is an overachiever.

Hopefully that’s just a hen trying to crow because some do it when they’re young.

Yes. I have a white leghorn that started about 8 weeks. Sounds like he needs a cough drop but he is starting to sound better now. There are other roosters in the neighborhood that I think hes competing with.

Oh, no, this one is ALL boy. Not a problem for me; I can keep roosters (as long as he behaves himself), but he's one of my two Easter Eggers, so that's a small bummer. Luckily I have some Blue Wheaten Ameraucanas due to hatch in about a week and a half, so I won't be without colored egg layers.

That’s good. Yea it sucks since ours was 1/3 EE chicks.
