rooster eye problem

I have a rooster with a black rim around his eye on the inside corner closest to his beak. He was fine this morning and he does not seem to feel bad. Any ideas what might be wrong with him?

Could you post a photo? Could it just be dirt, or an injury? If he's acting normal, it may not be much to worry about. A photo would help.

Chicken looks like she's been in the ring with a boxer and has a black eye ( color on face around...

I read that thread recently and did searches and never could find any mention on poultry vet or info sites.
