Rooster foot swollen

My rooster has a swollen foot and hobbling. Soaking the foot daily in epson salt, giving asprin for pain and inflamation. Do not think it is bumble foot. When he does walk he uses his wing to help stay upright. Have got him by himself for rest off of the leg.Any thoughts greatley appreicated.

Could you post a picture of the foot and leg? It sounds a lot like bumble foot, although he could have sprained it. One of my ducks was doing the same thing a while back and I took her to the vet... Long story short She had sprained her ankle and was fine a couple days later.
