Rooster giving me the business

So I have 5 hens and 1 rooster, I have a pretty amicable relationship with the rooster and now it seems that he has decided to become very aggressive towards me. He is going on 2 years old so I don't think that this is him reaching adulthood, any ideas why? I recently changed their food, is he angry because he doesn't like it and he is taking it out on me...I am wondering what to do.

Twice I've had roosters who became human aggressive as adults, so it can happen. Who knows what he's thinking, except it's not good.
@Beekissed has a good article about reforming difficult roosters, if you want to try, and if you don't have visitors or children out there.
He'd likely make soup stock at least...

he is with the hens, none of them are broody

I have only had 1 rooster who went from being very nasty to eating out of my hand again like when he was young. The only changes were I let them free range (no more fox) and I whoomped him on a few occasions with a broom. I'm not encouraging this, but still this is my experience. Other rooster were either mean to the core or very sweet.
