This may have been asked...I have 4 hens and a rooster that are around 2 years old. I have six pullets that are about 11 weeks old. When and how do I integrate the young ones? Right now we have them separated inside the coup and a 2x3 area inside the run the young ones go in during the day. I let them all out to free range yesterday. When the young ones go close to the rooster he would "snap" at them as would one of the hens.
