I’ve had this boy for over two years now. I believed he was perhaps a Faverolle for the longest time but he doesn’t have the extra toe. What do you think he could be? A Faverolle or something else? His name is Crowe. He’s the sweetest thing. Never pecked or flogged us or my one year old. Never got in any fights. We got him for $3 off of Craigslist. What a steal. We recently hatched a clutch of 7 with him and our Rhode Island Red hen!! They are the most beautiful chicks I’ve ever seen in my life. They all look extremely different in color, they actually look like baby owls at this point. Our hen is such a great mama and they’re all thriving in their own coop separate from the roo and our other hens.

He's an Easter Egger.
An especially handsome one.

oh my goodness, I feel so dumb. I don’t know why I didn’t figure that out before! I’ve just never been too familiar with easter eggers. I thought for sure he looked like a Faverolle roo. Thank you sooo much!!

Faverolles can look similar
Easter Eggers can be cool though. Lots of variation.
Their babies are the cutest things I’ve ever seen. I love the colors so much.
