I have a little over a year old rooster. He is spoiled He is a NewHampshire red.I notice when ever he goes to crow or show off he flaps his wings likevlittle cockerals or pullets do.Not a nice, hard slap.

Is he just not fuly mature yet?

He's just shy and insecure. I'm guessing there is another more dominant rooster in the flock.

But it is pretty funny.I actually think he may have had "failure" to thrive,he grew so weird. His wings are tiny, maybe it's just because tehy have been through alot.

He challenged Zeus,or Zeus challenged him (He had the bigger lead then Zeus,Zeus was always last in line.)So we were forced to give the othr two away.

I didn't mention Joe,our 6 year old rooster, because he isn't really part of mien flock.I bought most of our chickens while my grandparents got the other half.
