I saw this article, and immediately thought of everyone here.

This guy got in a lucky strike to an elderly woman. Of course, the rooster is from Australia. Apparently, everything in Australia wants to kill you, even the roosters. Life is too short for mean roosters!

This is the perfect opportunity to make a joke about the descendants of velociraptors, but I don't want to seem insensitive, so I'll keep it to myself.

On a similar, less fatal note, I have had an angry hen try to take out my dogs eye. He got lucky & can still use the eye, but that was about 6wks worth of hardy vet bills.

Wow, that's sad.

I agree, it is sad. It's a one in a billion shot too, but it's a reminder that roosters can do more damage than just a cut here or there.
