One of my roosters started limping a couple of days ago. Is this something that I can fix or will I need a vet. The nearest vet is 130 miles away.

Hi, welcome to BYC!

His back toe looks a bit swollen, could you get a closer/clear picture?

1 out of 5, 1 being the worst, how bad would you say the limp is, does the affected leg feel warm to the touch, could you check the bottom of his feet for Bumblefoot, does he appear healthy otherwise?

Foot does not seem warm and he seems healthy. doesn't seem to be any signs of bumblefoot on the pads.

I'm going to soak the foot in Epsom salt solution and apply prid and Neosporin. Wrap it up and check on it tomorrow morning. He doesn't seem to be in too much pain, maybe 2 out of 5.
