My rooster is doing something weird. Every so often about 20 seconds apart his head arches back and he flips over. I have a video, but I couldn’t post it. Has anyone seen this before?

    His body actually flips?
You can upload the video to YouTube I believe and then load it.

I wonder if you mean "wry neck," or "star gazing," wry neck can be from nutritional shortages or a blow to the head

Could it be some sort of seizure?

Didn't think of Wry Neck, the flipping over is intersting.
    If it is Wry Neck - Vitamin E 400IU & Selenium 25mcg 2 - 3x day, NutriDrench, Thiamine/Vit B1, tuna, liver

That is something I have not seen before!

:pop Interested to know what is happening. Hoping he is ok or it’s fixable.

Poor guy. He must be very bewildered as to why his body keeps flipping him over. Yep. Wry neck.

It can come on suddenly from a blip in his nutrient balances. One day he's got enough vitamin E in his system and the next day, wham! A shortage is flipping him on his head!

If you have some vitamin E oil 400iu capsules on hand, pop one in his beak. Do it each day until his balance, both literally and nutritionally are restored. If you can get some selenium, add a sliver to the E and it will absorb better.
