Rooster or Hen Buff Brahma 15 weeks

Really hoping this is a hen! We have 5 buff Orpington the same age all hens so this would be perfect! Please let me know!!

The bird is out of focus because of the wire. I an not get a good look at the feathers. How old is the birds? It might be a cockerel.

Can you get some pictures of this bird directly (ie. not behind hardware cloth)? It looks a bit like a cockerel from what I can make out but better pictures will help everyone help you!

Looks like a boy to me, iv'e got one hatched July 10th and she dosen't have nearly that much comb or wattles nor that curved tail. Better photos would seal the deal though.

They will be pullets or cockerels technically until 1 year old when they get their hen or rooster badges.

Can't make any important detail out to assess gender in those pics. Please post a standing side view without the fencing. Brahma can be slow maturing but most will be starting to sport some saddle feathers by now...

According to JUST waddle size and age... could be female. But better pics required.

How old is the birds?

Looks like it is molting, I do not see the saddle feathers. Maybe a top view or one from the other side would help. It looks like a pullet to me but I could be wrong.

Interesting! So hard to tell! It was our mystery chick so we have been very curious on the sex!!
