Sheesh...I hope she's a she! When my daughter picked her up she let out a strange warbble which made me second guess her being a SHE! She's really gentle...and did NOT have these reddish protrusions a week ago! I'll get more pictures later...I've got 24 ameraucana's...beautiful and all kinds! 10-12 Silvers and Brown Red's, 4 Wheatens, 3 buffs, 1 white, 2 brown reds. My girls ages 8, 6, and 3 LOVE them and we all sit in the coop with them every afternoon for an hour or so! Great stress reliever! They love flying an sitting on my 6'3 husband's shoulders!

I'd guess hen. Hens have wattles, too. They are just smaller and less obvious.

Can you compare her to the other birds? Do the other ones have tiny wattles, too? Maybe you only just noticed it on this one.

If that bird is only 7 weeks old, I say cockerel. Waaaay too red to be a pullet at that age.
