Ok so I am pretty positive that this chick is a mister...any ideas on what to name him, or even the breed? He is a couple weeks old.

    *Here he is..

They both look like roos to me. I don't have any ideas on names or breeds. I have never been good with names or breeds. But they definently both looks like roos to me.

I don't think it's a cochin, because cochin feathers cover the middle toe.

They don't look like silkies either. They (silkies) have poofy heads, black skin and different feathers.

Quote:They don't always, no. If it is from poor breeding stock, which many hatcheries are, it may have minimal feathering. I have had hatchery cochin chicks with no feathering to the toe.
