rooster or hen ?

    I feather sexed this guy when he was 1 day old it was a rooster but just to be sure what do u think this pic was taken when he is 6 weeks old oh Ps. he or she is a amarucana X dark brown leghorn the Ameuracana is the mom dark brown leghorn is the rooster

    Considering the blotches in your birds color, I would say you have a cockerel. Hens colorations flow into each other.

    that is what I thought because the comb is dark red unlike the others and I'm keeping him because he is my adult roosters son and I want to see them both together lol

    ya he has a dark red comb and his tail feathers curve over like a cockarals and the hens stick strait up
