While it is true that leghorn pullets can develop some fairy impressive combs in SIZE, this bird is developing COLOR in comb and wattles and even in leghorns, pullets will not color until they are nearing the point of lay.

Well since i was not expecting a rooster does anyone have tips on how to train it i have little ones dont want it to attacl the kids

Cockerel - if you don't need one for fertile eggs to hatch or sell, hens are much happier without one. They will still lay the same amount of eggs and have much less stress in their lives.
