Rooster or hen?

    This is my 15 week old barred rock. I swear that I heard it crow a couple of days ago. Could it be a roo? It is much bigger than the other 3 chicks (all different breeds) that we purchased the same day at the feed store.

    He's a rooster, and I believe he's a black sex link, not a barred rock.

    Yeah, I agree with everyone else, definitely a rooster! The tail feathers are a dead give away.

    Definitely NOT a barred rock. He's a rooster for sure. I think it could be a black sex link too.
