Rooster or Hen?

Hello! I’m a new chicken owner. I successfully hatched 15 chicks about 5 weeks ago. I can only keep 6 chicks and only hens. I really like this particular one and don’t know if it is a hen. Can anyone help?

Probably Male.

Can’t zoom into your pics. However barred males get 2 barred genes, so wider white bars. If you have other barred chicks, that are female, they should look darker bc they do not have double wide bars.

plus, decent comb and wattle development fo the age.

While the comb is not bright pink, wattles that early tip toward roo. He/she is definitely a hold if you have time- but if you need to get down to six quickly I'd pass on this youngster...

Thanks for replying! I only have one that looks like this chick. The others are probably Road Island Red except one that is black and brown. I don’t know the breeds.
