Rooster or hen?

I have this beautiful bird that came from the straight-run pen of star gazer green eggers. There's evidence of both genders..

Rooster: bigger bird, long thin neck feathers, big, stand up, plumey tail

Hen: smallish comb doesn't go back past they eye, small waddle

It's been suggested to wait until it crows (I haven't caught it crowing yet), but that's not a hard/fast rule because I know hens can crow. My brother had a hen that started to crow when he lost a lot of his flock to a predator, so a crow isn't 100% proof. I wish it was a hen cause it's such a pretty bird, but I'm suspicious it's a roo. What do you think?

There are no wattles because it has a beard in place of them, so they will not grow.

I was going to say almost exactly that

I can see the saddle feathers just in front of the tail. They are narrow feathers, that will eventually get longer and hang down on both sides. Saddle feathers only happen on male chickens (and a few females with hormone problems, but those are rare enough we can ignore them most of the time.)

Thanks so much...that's where I was leaning but before I got rid of a hen, and beautiful bird, I wanted to ask those far more experienced.
