Yup, I see the huge difference now that I have some hens. I really didn’t get swindled though. The young lady who gave me the 4 week old chickens is learning too. She has gifted me recently with 6 hens. I’m happy and she is happy.

Not very good ones yet because I still have the four roosters and one-two are very nasty. I’ve been bit so many times LOL!! Here is what I have so far… barred rock and dominiques. Two eggs so far. Plans are to get rid of all but one of the roosters. I have six hens… but I’m suspicious that one of them might be a Dominique rooster. I’ll have to try to get a pic but right now battling our first snow
