Rooster or Hen?

    This chicken is a few months old, they are all just starting to sound like real chickens now and Im thinking it looks like a rooster... It kind of has the curved feathers on the tail, what do you think?? The breed is Golden Sex Link.

    Yep, those long pointy saddle feathers are a dead give away... You've got a lovely cockerel.

    With golden/red sexlinks, the males are always white with some red here and there, and the females are always red/golden. [​IMG]

    Argh [​IMG] I was hoping it wasnt a boy! Hes one of my favorites and I am not allowed to have roosters in my area [​IMG] Looks like hes going up for sale gahhhh. [​IMG] [​IMG]

    What exactly is a saddle feather? I have the same issue trying to sex out 2 of my birds... I cant post pics from here at work though...
