Rooster or hen?

    I'm not sure of the exact age, but he/she was hatched this spring. No eggs yet. This one is really hard to photograph.

    Definitely looks like a young Australorp Roo! His super fancy tail feathers with that super green hue give it away for me.

    Thank you for the reply. The tail feathers have been making suspect roo, but his comb and wattle is not very big.

    With those sickle feathers, 100% rooster. Is either a Black Australorp or Australorp mix.

    Rooster for sure. This is based off of the sickle feathers, shiny black feathers, and comb size/color. Probably a Black Australorp or an Australorp mix.
