    How old? Can you get a front view of the comb?

    I don't no how old he/she is because i bought it from a market but yes i will try and get a photo of the front of the comb. :)

    Comb looks small so it may be a female; however if it's young it may be a young cockerel. My female beardless silkies only get wattles as large as you bird's when they are close to starting to lay (about 6-7 months old). The little cockerels, however, will have wattles that size by about 3 months old.

    Wattles are the fleshy extensions of skin that hang beneath a chicken's chin.
