hi guys really don't know is this is a hen or a rooster can anyone help me?
How old? Can you get a front view of the comb?
I don't no how old he/she is because i bought it from a market but yes i will try and get a photo of the front of the comb.
Hmm, that makes things hard, you may well have to wait for crow or egg then!
It wouldn't stop moving so that's the best photo i could get.
Yes i was thinking i might have to do that
Comb looks small so it may be a female; however if it's young it may be a young cockerel. My female beardless silkies only get wattles as large as you bird's when they are close to starting to lay (about 6-7 months old). The little cockerels, however, will have wattles that size by about 3 months old.
I'm sorry what are wattles?
Wattles are the fleshy extensions of skin that hang beneath a chicken's chin.
Okay thanks he/she doesn't seem to have big wattles so she could be a girl )
