Rooster or hen??

Soo, I am I first time chicken owner! ( that might be obvious ) I thought I had purchased a hen but after quite a few weeks she? hasn't laid any eggs, and is developing to look more like a rooster to me. :/ Yikes! I've read chickens need some time to adjust after relocating and being put with new chickens so maybe I'm just over thinking all this! Any opinions you can give would be greatly appreciated. Like I said I'm a newbie! The girl in question is the Rhode Island Red.

Approximately 8 months. I can try to get one this Afternoon.

Around 8 months... I think my suspicion is being confirmed. I don't know if this means anything but this chicken's ( the red) behavior is soo different from my other two. The other two are very social and will let u touch them, they will eat from your hand, etc and the one in question runs from u or pecks at u if you try to touch it, it can be aggressive when food is around and has pecked the other hens occasionally. Could this be dominant /"rooster" behavior??

Looks like a cockerel to me.

The bird in question does not look like an 8 month old bird - but does look like a young cockerel.

All three in the first picture look more like 8 weeks not 8 months.
