I have 3 roosters that I want to rotate through my breeding pens to keep my genetics strong and delay inbreeding.
I've read it's OK to breed Mother to son and father to daughter. So with 3 cockerels and 6 pullets at what point to you add new blood?

Simple answer is whenever you decide to. Keep in mind that the semen deposited from a roo lives inside the hen for up to a month. So once one roo has bred the girls, you need to leave them roo-less for 3-4 weeks after removing the present roo, before putting the new roo in with them. And all eggs up to that point (putting in roo #2) will carry the genetics of the first roo. Have fun and hope you end up with a great color pallet!
