Rooster shopping

I'm looking for a new rooster who will be a good protector and mate. I'm also wanting something that when mixed with my different hens will produce pretty looking chicks. Right now I have a RIR and all my chicks always come out looking like little chipmunks except the Australorp mix. My roo is also very rough on my hens, they all have missing feathers on their heads and neck. Any suggestions of rooster breeds? I like the fluffy ones but I'm not sure they would be good with my existing flock. I have mostly production birds like Wyandottes, rir, Australorp, Easter eggers, orpingtons and barred rock. Thanks!

my English orpington roo is the perfect rooster! Mates the hens without harm, finds them treats, & keeps them in a herd

I had a really mean EE rooster.... And Swedish flower.... How about a citron spangled hamburg for color mixes? Or blue laced red Wyandotte?
