rooster sounds wierd!!!!!

I have a rooster that crows very well until after he crows he makes a very strange wheezing noise.... he doesn't breathe funny or make any other strange noises other than that. He is six months old he acts fine and is healthy just not sure why he does that.

Maybe he has a sore throat from crowing? Mine does that too and he seems fine. I don't THINK it's a problem.

When they crow really hard, sometimes you can hear them INHALE to get their breath back. It sounds funny

Thanks for the info. I have never heard a rooster do that but it makes sense it just sounds really strange I thought he was having an attack of some sort!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mine does the same exact thing!! I occasionally think about it.
