Do any of you have roosters that sometimes make hen noises? The noises I am referring to is after they've laid an egg they like to tell the whole world about it. My rooster sometimes makes those noises. Why do they do that? I know sometimes when I put them in at night and want to handle them (to check to make sure everyone is ok), my rooster has a fit. Here's a picture of him.

Usually, any ruckus coming from my pens are caused by the roosters, and it does sound like a cackling hen after laying an egg.
    I find it very funny.
When one gets to hollering, the other roosters join in.

Yep, my hens start and the roosters join in.
