I have one rooster with 10 hens. I have 5 hens that have lost feathers on their backs and heads, making them unsightly looking. They have not lost no feathers on their wings. My question is their anything a person can do about this aside putting saddles on your hens (tried that,not much luck there) or just throwing your rooster out of the henhouse. I have never noticed my rooster being that hard on the hens,...maybe they are lacking protien or maybe molting??? I hate to have to throw him out away from his girls, he is such a good rooster. Any help would be great. Thanks!
