Rooster with rattle in chest

I have a Rhode Island Red rooster that rattles some. Sounds like congestion to me but he acts normal. I gave all the chickens antibiotic powder in the water for about a week, seems to have helped some but not completely cleared it up. Don't remember the name of it but it was yellow powder. I have 5 hens with him and they are not acting sick. He still crows, scratches, and eats but will sort of cough some. Does anyone have any ideas? Also has anyone heard of putting a little bleach in their water? How long before I can use the eggs after the antibiotic? Thanks

Are you thinking Terremyicin? Don't know if that is spelled correctly...
