bantam Rooster vs Cat (i think) not exactly sure. He's got a huge hole under the back of his comb. Very lathargic but after some cleaning can open his eyes. eyes are clear and normal, breathing appears to be normal since i cleaned the dried blood off his head. I am most concerned about the hole under the back of his comb. There are some minor boo boos on his comb but the tips of it are black not sure if its from dried blood or loss of blood supply due to hole. It looks like something tried to rip his comb off. I did give him some pedialyte and he did perk up a bit. He keeps shaking his head like he's trying to get a fly or something off of it not constantly but about every 10 minutes or so unless I touch his comb to clean it. i can try to get pics if any one would like to see its pretty gross though. Any Ideas on how i can help him?

He sounds shocky. Keep him warm and dry. Definitely keep up the fluids. He might not want to eat, but it's more important to keep him hydrated at the moment. Pics might be good to determine the severity of the boo boo. However, usually, other than basic supportive care, you pretty much have to let mother nature take over...

took some time to get the big clump of dried blood off doesnt look so much like a hole but a good scratch. this is a good thing i'll keep trying ti clean him up some more he lets me to a point then starts fighting me so i stop for a bit and let him rest.
i think he'll be ok i'll get some pics if i can
