Rooster?

    How old? Is the bird in question from a hatchery?

    Here's a few more. The bird is 3.5 months old and he did come from the hatchery as "sexed" and we all know how well that works out

    At 14 weeks I would expect to see a much larger, redder comb if it were a cockerel. It looks small and pale in this picture. Is that the case?

    It is. Pale and very small. No bigger than the three others that are the same age and for sure pullets. They are all around the same size too. I always psyche myself out over the stupid tail feathers. I did this exact same thing last year with an Easter egger. Lol

    It looks like a pullet to me. The barring looks a little light, but that could just be the picture.
