rooster??

I posted earlier on the forum for flocks because im concerned about this one chick...that he/she may have something wrong that could effect the others. Since i have received no replys i thought i would try here. The chicks behavior is just fine so i thought maybe this one is a rooster and maybe they feather differently. Please help very concerned and not sure what to do

Looks like he is feathering in to me- quills seen. Not sure if he is a boy, but that is a large comb.

They do go through mini-molts as they get their adult feathers.

How old is this bird? If under 16 weeks (and it sure looks to be) then I would have to say cockerel.

I appreciate it...i have a dozen chicks altogether and this is the only one ive been worried about. I do have one other i think may be a rooster? Any guesses

At 8 weeks, girls should still have a mostly yellow comb.

ok the other 2 rir are still more yellow in color. As long as hes healthy...has been looking kind of rough and was getting pretty worried.
