These are Rhode Island Reds at 11 weeks old and I am guessing potential Roosters... Four out of five had the black stripe on their heads but four of them appear to be Roosters so I am throwing the black stripe sexing logic out the window.. Don't mind the GLW'S in the pictures. They are photogenic...[IMG]

All of those with the small, yellow-ish comb are probably hens, the rest are most likely roosters.

All the RIR that are pictured are cockerels

I'm thinking all cockerels, also. If there's one you think is a pullet, try getting a shot of just her.

I will post a picture of her tomorrow. Now i just need to figure out how much longer to let them grow before i..... The GLW's are all hens i believe. 5 GLW, 5 RIR, three barnyard mixes and some FBCM, BCM and BO in the bator... Praying for a good hatch with the Marans. The dark chocolate eggs can be tricky.:cd

So here is a picture of my RIR hen next to what you all believe to be a cockarel. I will be naming her Lucky Lucy.[IMG]
