My chicks are 4 weeks old. I see no obvious comb, spurs, or cockadoodle-doos. Are we safe then??? Brian
Dont get spurs till they're at least six to eight months old, either. You are SO not out of the woods, LOL!

It's difficult to tell, but it looks like you have at least 2 roos in the bunch. Maybe you could try to get pics of each bird individually.
For me, it wsn't until he crowed, lol!! Boy that's a newbie for ya!!! Looking back now with the differences in his colors, I should have known from day one!!! I have learned quite alot about chickens this past year!!!!
I was pretty much sure I had a BO roo at 11 wks. Compared to the pullets he had a much bigger comb. He did not crow until he was like 7 months old.
