One is a buff Orpington(pretty sure) and the other I’m not so sure about. I’m thinking it’s a black tailed Maran. They are both 8 weeks old. They have decent sized combs but they don’t seem to be as red as my barred rock that I’m positive is a rooster. Thoughts?

Both are cockerels. "Marans" is a crossbred.

All cockerels. The first is a Buff Orpington. The second in the foreground looks like a mixed breed, and a barred rock in the background. :D

We hatched eggs at my school. They were from a hatchery. This is my first run with raising chicks. I’ve always only gotten full grown.
