Roosters?

I would say both of those are female- I'm not the OP but I agree it is probably a Barred Rock because it has a straight single comb. Dominiques have a rose comb with a little accent on the top.
Enjoy them, they're both beautiful little pullets :)

Why not a Dominque?
Dominque's have a rose comb Barred plymouth rocks have straight combs

How do you distinguish it as a Barred Rock?
I ordered it from Murrary McMurray Murray.
Do you think they pulled from the wrong bin?
It seems unlikely... I don't know... Maybe they have poor quality? Or a simpler answer would just be wrong bin I suppose

That surprises me. The difference is the comb. If you look at a barred rock they have a straight comb, as where a Dominique has a pointed rose comb. Barred rocks are amazing birds though.
