For the longest time I didnt really care to see it. Lately I have been more than interested in watching movies on slaves through the 1960s and such.

It sure is fascinating.
I love me a LOOONG movie that tells out a whole life. This one gives me that for MANY generations.
Its made me laugh, cry (several times), feel excited..

Anyone seen it?

Im just getting to the part where the KKK is starting..
What a horrible thing to go through! I could never imagine something like that. Fearing for my childrens and families lives day in and day out

The first time I cried was when Fiddler died then Kunta Kente (Toby).
That seems like ages ago (even though it was only days).
But I do love 'Chicken George'. Not at first... but his spunk won me over.

Yes, it is excellent. I also like long Epic movies such as Gone with the Wind, North and South and Legends of the Fall. ENJOY!

How was Queen?
I havent seen 'Gone with the Wind' and 'North and South'. Ill check them out!

I saw 'Legend' as a child (and a few times since then).
A couple times Ive had the same dream Im down in Darkness' layer peeking over a ledge watching a unicorn chained to the wall trying to plot how to get it free

Lazy J Farms Feed & Hay :

Some of us actually watched it when it aired on television originally.

It did seem great at the time. I watched it a while ago and it seemed so dated.
I remember The Winds Of War and I liked that too.
