Rose Comb RIR straight run

    Here are the two Rose comb RIR we got at Sandhill Preservation. They are 3 weeks old. I doubt gender can be determined, but do these look like RC-RIR? We've never had a rose comb breed or RIR.

    Looks like a rose comb RIR to me.

    I have both rose comb and single comb Nankins, and your chicks look like rose comb to me. Their combs have multiple points across the comb, and a single comb would be points in a straight line from front to back. It's hard to see in person, but easier if you have a photo of the comb, as you have here, and enlarge it.

    Looks like you indeed have Rose comb RIRs. Much to young to sex just yet.
