Rose the Rooster meets Princess the cat! ** PICS **

Rose is 14 weeks old and met our calico cat "Princess" today. (7-2-08)
Rose was quite curious... the cat.. well, she was leary of the huge bird in the house!
I remember when she used to watch Rose with curiosity.. lol, today it was the other way around!

Yes, Rose is a roo but we named him Rose when we thought he was a pullet.
I personally, cannot call him by any other name at this point.

So cute!! I love the name Rose. He looks like a sweetie. The cat may not think so...she looks totally freaked!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who has a roo with a girl's name. We thought all our roos were pullets so they're named Justine, Danielle, Suzanne, Iris and Louise. Can't call them anything else!

I'm also glad I'm not the only one who brings their chickens in the house!

Thanks! They are my pets and will always come in the house at one time or another I'm sure! Rusty was inside too today!

They both pooed on the floor!

He is such a pretty roo! Your daughter is very pretty too. She reminds me of myself when I was little, always carrying an animal around with me, usually on my shoulder. lol The cat on the other hand seems a little concerned about the chicken in the house lol. My cat was stalking a guinea for a while, til the guinea had enough and got after the cat!!! Cat didn't chase him anymore and now they tolerate each other's presence very well lol.
