Rouen eggs

I have two female Rouen’s that are six months old and have started laying eggs. I know they aren’t fertilized because we have only the two females but I’m not sure what to do with the eggs. I hate to just toss them and we have never eaten duck eggs.

Eat them, or boil them and feed them back to birds as a once in a while treat

Eat them!! My ducks just started laying a couple weeks ago and we find them to be just like chicken eggs. Or find someone who will eat them - people will pay a premium for duck eggs!

Duck eggs are the best! I have people constantly asking me for them, especially bakers!

I will say that I was nervous to try my duck's egg the first time because I'm not very adventurous. I was pleasantly surprised though, and now everyone in the family will choose them over my store-bought chicken eggs.
